My Weekend

This weekend kind of flew by. I guess that's what happens when you work both days. Friday night I went and saw Starter for 10 with Jules and B but first we went to a new Chinese place that I had driven past a few times. The Happy Dragon, the price was pretty reasonable and the food was excellent. I had the Chefs special beef, Jules had the Sesame chicken and B had Shrimp with Veggies.

Starter for 10 was a good movie. Its British and I just enjoy listening to people speak with a British accent so that's a plus. There are no plot twists or anything really exiting. Its just about a kid, who knows alot of random information, going off to college where he joins the question team. I don't remember the name of the team but it pretty much reminded me of the Saved By the Bell episode where they go against the other school in a jeopardy type question answer game. The bad guy in the film looked like a grown up dracus malfoy. The movie was mainly situational humor. The kid gets himself bad situations and does stupid things. It was good, go see it.

I worked sat and then went bowling, I am getting better my average is up from a 155 to 175. 20 pins in 3 weeks isn't bad. I just need to keep it up. I went to bed early on Saturday so I could make it to church.

Sunday I woke up late. Well, I didn't wake up late. I woke up on time, hit my snooze button and got an extra 2 hours of sleep. I woke up just in time to freak out, throw on some clothes and make it to service on time. I will make it to Sunday school one of these days. William, my nephew, was being dedicated so I had to make it. For those of you who don't know what being dedicated is, its the baptist way of publicly saying you are going to raise this child in a Christian home. Other denominations Baptism but it all means the same thing. William was great. He just looked around and smiled with his 5 teeth, it was very cute.

The rest of Sunday was a blur. I went to work and then picked up John from the airport and then went to bed early so I could take John back to the airport at 4 in the morning because his earlier flight was cancelled. This morning didn't suck as much as I would have thought considering I missed 2 hours of sleep. I woke up and went into work early feeling full of energy.

Jeers: To finding out this morning that I have a show and will be in Fort Worth from Thursday to Saturday. Next week I am going to be very backed up.

Baptism is the first sacrament of the Catholic Church. Often infants are baptized in the Catholic Church with the idea that their parents and God parents are going to teach them the faith. Being baptized gives us an open window to knowing and building a relationship with God.
