Salsa on a hot day

I never do anything Austiny..i know thats not a word but today it is...There are festivals that i always skip and six street bores me. Today was differnt though, they had the salsa festival and what do i love more then salsa? Me, kevin, and jenkins grabbed our bag of canned food, which was our ticket in and headed to austin in my car.

We parked 2 blocks away and the sun beat down on us in the 124 degree texas summer afternoon. It was hot and i like a retard wore jeans. by the time we got there i was sweating. We walked around for awhile and stood in line listening to the local country performers, who were really good, and took in the scenery. It took about 15 mins to actually get to the first salsa booth where we tasted HEB salsa, it was ok. Throghout the day we tasted over 50 salsa and i would have to say the best was Bigdawg salsa. They had tons of differnt salsa to choose from and all of them were tasty and the ones that were hot actually had flavor. I would have to say though Stephs salsa beat all of them.

I ended up buying salt. I know, there are thousands of salsa to buy and i leave with salt but this salt is SOOOOOO good. I got a garlic, lime and chile, and chipotle. I prefer my salsa home made so and i wasnt impressed enough to purchase anything there. The salt however was excellent. Its good on anything but mainly on cucumbers and other veggies which is where i will use it the most. That and when we make homemade frys in jenkins frydaddy.

One the way home I almost killed us in the car and saw jenkins and gibbs scream like little girls. That was fun.

Alright I have to go. We are off to see BEERFEST!!!!!

You have to scream when you say that.
