New York Baby!!!

Well it was a rough start. I got everything packed last night and headed over to my parents house to crash for the evening. Things didnt start to go bad till Whitney got home (my sister). She didnt get home till 130, not a problem but she didnt come home to go to sleep she brought her friends with her to "hang out". At two in the morning when we have to wake up at 430 and did i mention that her freinds are all over 6 foot black guys. I am not a racist person but these guys dress spot on to a steriotype. Basketball jersys, pick in there fro, and pants to the floor. They looked like they were my age or older. Whit is 19. I have a big problem with this.

My parents are asleep and whit is bringing home strangers. Is it not ok for me to ask them to leave? Because thats exactly what I did. They ended up sticking around for another 45 mins saying goodbye or making out with whit, I dont know i was in the other room and we too pissed off to care. Its soo hard for me to even like my sister and that makes me sad. I know she cant help it in a way but i dont know how else to handle her. She wants to be a grown up so bad but she doesnt have the knowledge or just plain brains to be one. She is stuck in the 8th grade. She is constantly putting other people in danger. Yes i consider bringing home strangers danger to the family.

Anyways they finally left the house but I couldnt go to sleep. I was too worked up. So when it was time to wake up and head to the airport I was starting to really get tired. We dropped off whit at the bus station and sent her to my aunts while we are gone because she cant be home alone (what a nightmare). After we saw her off, Cesar, dropped us off at the airport and we had a fun adventure going through the metal detectors, which i didnt know this because i havent flown in awhile but you pretty much strip to go through those things now, showing your ID to everyone between your bag checkin till you board the plane. It took about 45 mins and was pretty interesting but it woke me up so i consider it a good thing.

Jet Blue is awsome!!! Everyone gets a tv and a remote (on the armrest) and you get to watch anything you want. It wasnt like you only had 3 chanels, there were like 30 and 4 espn channels: espn, espn2, Classic, and News. Espn was showing hockey replay of the final game of the stanley cup, espn 2 showed World Cup games, Classic had bowling on and News had sports center on. Needless to say it was an easy flight and i was having lots of fun switching channels. The only problem i would say i had was that the seats were leather, and thus after awhile i got sweaty behind my legs and back..i hate leather seats, but it wasnt too big of a problem just a bother.

We arrived with no delays or anything, it was a straight flight, our bags were the first off of the belt and we grabbed a cap and 30 mins later we were at the hotel settling in. What a blessing to have everything go so smooth. Once we were all settled in we watched a little soccer and then went to eat lunch at Bubba Gumps. Its a cool place, i have eaten at the one on the Navy peir before in Chicago, both were exactly the same. Goood food and good service. Also a good location right down in time square next to our hotel :). I didnt take any pics but i plan to tomorrow.

After walking around and spending some time in a park that was near by we planned to watch the game (dallas) at the ESPN zone, but they were having some sort of private party and no one was alowed in. There were at least 10 limos outside the place. So we went to Dave and busters but they were to crowded!! So to say our feet and me, at this point i havent slept in forever and am dead tired, we just settle for applebeas bar. We get a great dinner and a couple drinks while we watch the first half before heading back to the hotel.

It was a great day and i am spent. I wanted to write everything down before i forgot it all because so much is happening I am bound to forget most of it. Now that it is written its lights out.

Ill write more tomorrow night.

I made a promise to my mom that when i finished school i would join the Community Choir with her. So I joined last year about this time and I found out we were sining in Carnegie hall this summer. It was a pretty good deal she paid for the whole thing and its been the best vacation/days this week. So it is a family vacation with only me, my mom and dad here.
