Ender will save us all.

Meet Ender, he is 8 weeks old loves cuddling and "the ladies". We spent most of the day in the car and he got lots of attention when we went to Petsmart. He was so cute he made the lady who checked us out cry. Well that and the fact that her 15 year old lab just died. That was an awkward moment.

Anyways here are the pics thats what everyone wants to see.

All these gadgets and none of them take a check!

I have had the worst time trying to buy my artist a new Mac. You would think it would be as easy as going to the Apple Store and picking one up but that is not the case. They have one on display but apparently that is just for looks.

When you walk into the store you will be greeted by someone who stands next to the door and says hi. They wont open the door for you or help you if you need it. Apparently their job is to say HI and GOODBYE and thats about it. So we stood around for about 15 mins. waiting for someone to help us. Not a big deal. They were busy and there are plenty of things to look at while we waited. The sales rep that helped us said he had never sold a mac pro before. For those of you that dont know which one it is, its apples biggest machine, very powerful and its starts around 2,500 before you add the stuff you need to it, and we were adding enough to double that price. Not a small sum of money.

We ask for a few upgrades, all of which the guy says they have instock and can apply to our machine. It will take a day to install everything but thats not a big deal. We go through all of the option with our stuff. None of which are a problem. The sales guy was nice and although not really informative I knew what I wanted and he got it no problem. All the problems we had were when we went to checkout.

Apple doesnt take checks or cash. Our check was declined because the amount was too great. When we called the company that handles their checks we were going to have to sing up and set up an account with them! Stupid. Why in the world with technology the way it is can I pay over the phone all my bills with a check, Over the Phone but when I go to the tech savy store of Apple I have to go through hoops just to pay. We talked to the manager and he said our only option then was to pay with a credit card. Apparently, us walking out not spending five grand on a computer was no big deal to him. He said and I quote, "It only happens a couple of times a month." You let ten thousand dollars walk out every month? I hate apple.

YAAAAAA!!!! It's Spring Break! ...oh wait.

Man it would be great if spring break meant anything but alas, it doesn't. I still have people who need their jobs by Friday and it just so happens those people have more time to come by and ask me if their stuff is done yet. Fun times.

Cool things to note.

Zooey Deschanel's new cd is streaming here.

A very cool lost theory is here.

If you dont read Pop Candy you should. I am pretty much listing highlight off of it.

How I met your mother news: Britney Spears is going to have a small role and so is Scrubs star, Sarah Chalke, is going to replace Alicia Silverstone. I personally like the switch. Read about it here.

Stupid 63!

What if I told you to forget the number 63! Just forget it, don't even think about. When you are done reading this you wont even remember what number you just read (63)! I mean its a stupid number anyways and you dont really care about it. At no point in your day is this number just going to come into your mind and disrupt all your other thoughts, it wont. Just rest easy knowing that you have already gotten the number out of your mind. What number you say? 63. Crap. Now its stuck in your head isnt it? Now, you wont be able to get it out of your mind. Its there, all because I told you to forget it. Thats what you get.

This is pretty much what Gibbs did to me yesterday and now it wont leave my head.

You call it being a nerd..I call it having a little passion

I dont think the term nerd has much relevance anymore. When I was in middle school only kids who played with magic cards and collected comic books we considered nerds. Computers were not very common (still to expensive) and nintendo was newly introduced. Video game nerds weren't heard of because only a few of my friends had them. I had one, on doctors orders. Now, everyone has a computer or two and most families have at least one gaming console. When people talk about being nerds they have to specify exactly what they are a nerd of be it books, gaming, blogging or pretty much anything.

I think as a society we have just replaced the word nerd with passion. Have you ever known someone to call themselves a book nerd and not really care about what they are reading or if you ask them what they are reading you will get a 20 min answer in full detail about it. If you asked me about my gaming I could tell you all about my toon in game, not that you would care, but I do.

I dont know where I was going with this it was just an observation.
